Organization
Established in 2002, the Very Involved Parents (VIP's) is the official parent association for Dade Christian School. The V.I.P.'s are led by the VIP Executive Board in conjunction with the Head of School. Membership is open throughout the year to all parents and grandparents of both elementary and secondary students. Consider becoming involved in the future direction of DCS.
Membership
Membership is open throughout the year to all parents and grandparents of both elementary and secondary students. Registration forms are available at the monthly VIP meetings and the Headmaster's office. There is no membership fee, but members are expected to volunteer time in at least one VIP program.
VIP Mission Statement
"To work towards the betterment of Dade Christian School, its daily operations and future development by organizing events and utilizing resources for fundraising as needed, building bridges to enhance communication, strengthen our unity and relationships among the student body, parents, staff and faculty."
Objectives
- To provide special programs/events for student enrichment
- To provide faculty support (in conjunction with the Room Mothers)
- To provide a social fellowship for parents and DCS staff
- To assist in outreach into the community
- To provide communication between parents and administration
- To assist with fundraising
