Dade Christian School considers summer reading an important extension of the curriculum. The purpose of the summer reading program at DCS is three-fold:

... To develop life-long reading habits

... Maintain reading proficiency

... To encourage critical thinking 

All students in grades 3-12 at DCS are required to complete the summer reading. The summer reading list has been selected to address the range of interest and specifics of grade level curriculum. Though not required, all students are strongly encouraged to keep a journal for each reading.

Please review the Summer Reading Book List as you prepare for the next school year. If you wish to purchase the books through our Library, the order form is also available, but please notice the deadlines.
