Secondary Clubs

Welcome to Dade Christian High School’s Clubs and Activities. Enjoy your high school years by becoming involved in one or more of the clubs offered.

DCS encourages student involvement in extracurricular activities. Participation will provide enjoyment and teach teamwork, leadership, discipline, and respect. These clubs offer experience in creativity, business occupations, world languages and cultures, law and government, honor societies, math and other academics subjects, among many other activities.

Spanish Club

The Spanish Club is meant to bring together students who are interested in the Spanish language and culture. The club will give students the opportunity to participate in occasional Spanish-related field trips and a variety of service projects to complete during the school year.

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are recognition programs for American junior high and high school students who show achievement in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Eighth graders and high school sophomores are eligible to submit a packet in the fall. Induction for new members is in the fall. As per the NHS constitution, freshmen are not eligible for admission. The students who meet the academic requirements for admission may obtain an application and submit it for further review by the selection committee. The NHS and NJHS members are required to maintain an 87% average (unweighted, unrounded) throughout their studies. They must attend regular monthly meetings and be involved in the NHS and NJHS group projects.

Co-Ed Bible Study

The High School Co-Ed Bible Study Club gives students a place to grow in God. Discussion-oriented meetings include Bible verses and various topics. The Bible study will give students opportunities to reflect on God, to grow in the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical realm, and stand firm on a commitment to Him. The Bible study meets every Tuesday at lunch time.

Future Business Leaders of America is an organization for students to obtain a better understanding of the different career opportunities offered in Business.  Students have the opportunity to hear guest speakers and to participate in competitions, stock market games and attend conventions.  We also raise money for the March of Dimes.  FBLA meets twice a month after school.

Brain Bowl

The IACCS/FACCS Brain Bowl is a two-day, academic team competition for 9th through 12th grade students. The Brain Bowl is an extracurricular activity which encourages students to demonstrate an excellence in academics through both individual and team competitions. There will be after school quiz/competition practice.
