DCS Cafe

The DCS Café is excited to begin a new school year and to be serving your families with nutritious, freshcooked meals that your students will look forward to each day. Students can expect a wide range of daily options from our A La Carte menu including made-to order subs and sandwiches, fresh fruit, desserts, chips, and a themed hot lunch. Café prices range from $7-10 per day and parents can monitor an itemized list of their student's account through their ParentsWeb/FACTS portal. Students are welcome to bring a packed lunch from home; however, for the safety of our students, glass containers are not permitted in the Café and microwaves are not available for student use.

Important

***The Café operates on a prepaid basis and families are required to maintain a positive balance of $20 minimum in their account at all times to be able to choose from the A La Carte menu. Once a student has less than $20 available in his/her prepaid account, automated emails will be sent to the parent. If a student's account is not funded, he/she will be given a packed meal containing a sandwich, fruit, and water for the remainder of the week. The following week, students are required to bring lunch from home or must have sufficient funding in their prepaid account to be permitted to order from the Café.

Payments

Payments can be made via your online FACTS account, in the Café, or at the Cashier window. Payments made online to your FACTS account will be applied immediately. Payments made at the Café or Cashier window take 1-2 business days to post to your account.

Enter a payment for Cafe - Online payments apply to the account once payment is made.

Chef Jesse Bacallao

Chef Jesse Bacallao is no stranger to the kitchen. After graduating from Dade Christian school in 2003, Jesse went on to pursue a degree in culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu. There, his passion for creating unique experiences through food set the tone for what would become an adventurous career. Chef Jesse has over 18 years of experience and has worked for some of the nation's leaders in hospitality and culinary arts such as Chef Emeril Lagasse, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, and Walt Disney World Resort. Jesse has also provided his services locally as a private chef and caterer serving both Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Jesse aims to bring his passion for creating memorable moments and his desire to provide fresh, high-quality meals to all students, faculty, and staff at Dade Christian School.
