Mrs. Maritza Rosado
Elementary Principal
Maritza's journey in education began with a strong passion for instilling virtues and empowering students to reach their full potential. Having taught and led in prestigious institutions like the New York Board of Education and Miami-Dade Public Schools, she brings a wealth of expertise and insight to our school community. As a proud parent herself, Maritza understands the dreams and aspirations you have for your children. Her three sons, Brandon, Jonathan, and Jordan are all proud alumni of Dade Christian School. This personal connection to the school reinforces her commitment to providing an exceptional experience for every child who walks through our doors. As the Elementary Principal, Maritza wholeheartedly believes that we are on an incredible journey together. Dr. Sarah Barek has been teaching for approximately 39 years and she would not change a thing learned or experienced. Sarah believes education makes a difference and changes lives for the better. Dr. Barek has been married to Dr. Juan Barek, D.Min. - a Southern Baptist Minister - for 40 years. God has blessed them with three beautiful and wonderful children: Joshua, Jacquelynne, and John-Joseph, and now with three beautiful grandchildren: Aubrielle, Alexandria, and Levi-Alexander. Dr. Barek holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a master’s degree in Christian Education and a Doctorate in Christian Education and Administration Leadership. Today, the Lord has brought Dr. Barek and her husband back to NTBC/DCS, where her husband serves both as the NTBC Spanish Pastor and as the TMA Campus Pastor at our Broward location.

Ms. Maggie Morales-Urena
Dean of Students
Ms. Maggie served as the Secondary Academic and Behavioral Interventionist for the ESE program. She joined the staff at Dade Christian School in August 2021 as an ESE Teacher and assisted in growing the program to triple its size. Ms. Maggie brings to Dade Christian a total of 17 years of administrative experience in the public and private sector along with a strong biblical perspective. Prior to Dade Christian School, Ms. Maggie served in multiple administrative, disciplinary, and academic roles at Bethesda Christian Academy, Booker T. Washington Middle School, and Somerset Academy. She is responsible for strategic discipline plans among her many duties. Ms. Maggie has a deep commitment to service; she supports the mission and vision of our school. Her commitment to diversity, mentoring, and interdisciplinary collaborations with teachers, is evident is everything she does. Ms. Maggie holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Science and in Psychology with Applied Behavior. The focus of her undergraduate and graduate studies has been on preventive interventions with children and adolescents, environmental assessment, race relations, and the effects of selected social policies on child mental health and well-being. She looks forward to working with our students and DCS families.
Anna Maliszewska has been a part of our Dade Christian School staff for the past two years and is joining us this year as our Athletic Director. Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Gdansk University as well as a Master’s degree in Tourism and Recreation Studies from Gdansk University. Anna also holds a National "B" US Soccer license and in the summer of 2022, she joined the Barry University women's soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Anna spent the previous season as the head coach at Florida Memorial University. Prior to joining the Lions staff, Maliszewska worked with several club teams in the South Florida area including a Tropical Soccer Club, head coach with Key Biscayne Soccer Club, and the Director of Coaching at Miami United Stars Soccer Academy, leading the boys’ teams to multiple state championships. Maliszewska was born in Bialogard, Poland, and is the daughter of war veteran Ryszard Maliszewski and Danuta Trykacz. She lives in Hollywood, Florida with her husband, Jorge Calix and her son, Nicolas.

Chef Jesse Bacallao
Cafe Director
Chef Jesse Bacallao is no stranger to the kitchen. After graduating from Dade Christian school in 2003, Jesse went on to pursue a degree in culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu. There, his passion for creating unique experiences through food set the tone for what would become an adventurous career. Chef Jesse has over 18 years of experience and has worked for some of the nation's leaders in hospitality and culinary arts such as Chef Emeril Lagasse, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, and Walt Disney World Resort. Jesse has also provided his services locally as a private chef and caterer serving both Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Jesse aims to bring his passion for creating memorable moments and his desire to provide fresh, high-quality meals to all students, faculty, and staff at Dade Christian School.
Mrs. Aguilar is an experienced Christian educator and registered behavioral technician with a degree in psychology from FIU. She began her career in education in 2012 as a teacher at Northwest Learning Center for preschool students, followed by five years as a behavioral technician at Behavioral Family Solutions and Believe2behave. During this past school year, Mrs. Aguilar was appointed lead ESE teacher of our DCS Exceptional Students Preschool program, where she was responsible for the planning and development of Biblically integrated curriculum.
