S.T.E.A.M. Program Director
Mr. Ramos began his teaching career many years ago at Dade Christian School when he completed his student teaching internship after attaining his Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from Southeastern University. He furthered his studies earning a Master of Arts in ESOL from Nova Southeastern University in 2005. Mr. Ramos has taught at the elementary, middle school, and adult education levels. Additionally, he was selected to train and become a certified educator for the Raspberry Pi Foundation, an initiative to raise computer science instruction worldwide.
Mr. Ramos looks forward to facilitating our first Robotics & S.T.E.A.M. Advanced Enrichment Program for the 2018-2019 school year. The class will be challenging, motivational, and creative, integrating advanced and hands on learning in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) with a Biblical foundation. The goal is to develop a set of thinking, reasoning, teamwork, investigative, and creative skills that students can use in all areas of their lives. S.T.E.A.M. is a way to intentionally incorporate different subjects across an existing curriculum. Mr. Ramos’ desire is to equip students academically and spiritually in their development into leaders for the next generation.
